The rocket project 2025

In connection with the rocket project of Frode Stensaa AS and Horten High School, the school starts in kindergartens have been commissioned to make astronauts. These should first attend astronaut school, Before two of them are allowed to fly in rocket speed at Jarlsberg Airport. The kids who made astronauts who win can attend the actual shooting day! It will be possible to vote for your favorite stonaut at the library in September.

It will be 2 rockets from Horten vgs each with their own astronaut shooting up to 700 meter height. At the top of the rocket orbit, the students' satellites are shot out with electronics measuring acceleration and air pressure.

The rockets and satellites fall into each parachute and be taken back to school for analysis of the measurements.

The astronauts are taken back to kindergartens and are exhibited there.
